Brazil

Brazil is enormous and you will see only a part of it. On this trip, however, these are some of the most beautiful and important places in this impressive country. The visit begins in Salvador da Bahia until 1763 the capital of Brazil and today UNESCO world heritage. Visit also the capital of today: Brasília – designed by the famous architect Oscar Niemeyer. Not to be missed are the spectacular waterfalls of Iguaçu and the Amazon region with Manaus, from where you can make a 3-day boat trip. And, of course, Rio de Janeiro, where you can also stop for a few days.

Arrival in the afternoon and transfer to the hotel.

Pelourinho

After breakfast visit a historical half-day of the city. The main objective of the visit is the picturesque old town of Salvador, the Pelourinho. There you will also spend the evening with a typical dinner and a dance or a music show. Depending on the interest, the program can be modified at any time.

Highlights: Old Town (Pelourinho), Mercado Modelo (crafts and souvenirs)

Cachoeira

We travel from Salvador to Cachoeira, 110 km, with its beautiful colonial buildings. Along the way, stop in the historic town of Santo Amaro and visit the cathedral and the market. In Cachoeira, visit the Dannemann cigar factory, which belongs to the Swiss company “Burger Söhne” since 1976. Lunch at the Fazenda Santa Cruz. Then walk through the city and return to Salvador. In the morning, transfer to Salvador da Bahia airport and departure to Brasília. Transfer to the hotel. Afternoon visit the city through the capital with its futuristic architecture. Evening visit through the city, where you will experience Brasília at night.

Transfer to the airport and flight to Manaus. Transfer to the hotel. Afternoon visit to the city including a visit to the famous opera house. Teatro Amazonas, the world famous opera of Manaus

Amazon Clipper Premium

Transfer from the hotel to the Amazon Clipper Premium. Welcome drink on board. With canoes, you can explore the narrow rivers of the jungle and discover the diversity of the flora and fauna of the region. Highlight: vegetation and animal world of the Amazon region

In the morning, we will observe birds and animals. After breakfast, visit the Caboclos, a descendant of the Brazilian aborigines who live by fishing, fruit-picking, cassava cultivation and rubber extraction.

In the afternoon you can go fishing for piranhas in the river. After dinner excursion for the observation of snakes, giant moats and alligators.

Meeting of the Waters

Even today you can see animals on canoes. On the way back to Manaus, you will pass the site where the Rio Negro, dark brown, loaded with sediment and Rio Solimões limpid. Due to the difference in consistency and the temperature of the water, they do not mix with each other. With a bit of luck, you can see the pink dolphins. Arrival in Manaus, transfer to the airport, departure to Rio de Janeiro. In Rio transfer to the hotel. Highlights: “Rio Negro and Rio Solimões”, pink dolphins

Take a tour of Botafogo and the district of Flamengo, the cathedral of Candelária, the Sambódromo, the theater of the city and the Pain de Sucre. Then back to the hotel. Free afternoon. Dinner in a churrascaria then Sambashov.

Highlight: View of the Sugar Loaf on Rio.

Transfer to the port of Itacuruça, boat trip to the many islands of the coast.

Highlight: Possibility of swimming and snorkeling

Corcovado

Today you take the cogwheel train to the Corcovado of 710 meters. Pass along the famous beaches of Leblon, Ipanema and Copacabana and return to the hotel. Free afternoon. Dinner in a typical local restaurant. Highlight: fantastic view of the Corcovado on Rio

Iguaҫu Waterfalls

In the morning transfer to the airport and departure to Foz do Iguaçu. Transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, visit the waterfalls on the Brazilian side and the bird park. Jeep through the forest on the bank of the Iguaçu River. Boat trip near the waterfalls. Highlight: Iguaҫu and Macuco waterfalls by boat

Itaipu Dam

In the morning, visit the largest hydroelectric dam in the world: Itaipu. In the afternoon, visit the cascades on the Argentine side. Highlight: Itaipu dam, Argentine waterfalls
Transfer to the airport and head for Salvador da Bahia. Transfer to the hotel.

In the afternoon transfer to the airport or individual extension of the trip.
